The Konkan Kada, a unique formation in the Sahyadris, is really tough and a challenge for the trekkers. This is a semicircular cliff of about 2,000 ft straight drop + 1000 ft slant fall in the Konkan plains. The surrounding grandeur and beauty of the plains and the mountains leaves us totally spellbound.
Rappelling, also known as abseiling is an act of descending a mountain face by sliding down a rope, which is attached to a body harness and fastened to an overhead projection, with sufficient friction provided as to make the speed of the descend controllable.
To rappel the Konkan Kada atleast once in a life time is a dream of almost every adventure freak in sahyadri. It is the most thrilling and spellbound activity in the whole Sahyadris.

By TRAIN – You can Catch Mumbai Express Train (17032 ) at 8-30 PM It will reach Pune by 9 AM NEXT DAY
By BUS- You have plenty of Bus Sevices available in this route!
BY AIR – A bit costly but You can save sometime when your time is more valuable than the cost 🙂
Mandatory:
1) A rucksack / haversack, in other words a bag u can put all your stuff in and hang on ur back, try to keep the bag less then 6 kgs
2) water bottles – which can carry 3 lts
3) walking /trekking /sport shoes
4) Torch / Flashlight /headlight
5) 1 track pants/ loose trousers – full length (apart from what you wear — request you not to wear jeans
6) 2 T-shirt – 1 half sleeve and 1 full sleeves preferred ( you may have to go in bushes) ( please avoid bright and shiny clothes and wear green/brown to merge in the jungle backgroud)
7) inner wear as per your convenience
● Alcohol consumption/ smoking tobacco/ weed is strictly prohibited during Entire EVENT . Will be expelled from the event If found with consumption.
● Please do not litter any plastic (biscuit pack covers, candy wrappers, etc.). We commit to keeping our events pollute free.
● Hyderabad Trekking Company has a right to cancel the participant slot.
● Please do not cause delay and cause inconvenience for others and impact the schedule.
● Below 18 must take the consent of the parents to participate.
● Participants will be notified prior to when the itinerary is modified/ event get canceled due to any unforeseen circumstances.
● If there is an unexpected change in weather during the event, the organizer has the right to withdraw/ retreat.
● Participants should coordinate, disciplined and align together as a team during the event.
● Please do not expect luxury facilities and appreciate being cooperative with fellow Participants
● Though we assure safety as a top priority, Event Organizers are not responsible for any severe injuries or fatal events.
● No refund will be provided if the participant doesn’t show up on the day of the event.

Maximum age: There is no maximum age limit. You need to be reasonably fit to participate.
